Caritas Isiolo prioritizes youth related issues. This is because the youths are among the most marginalized in socio-economic outcomes both locally and nationally. Caritas Isiolo’s primary focus is on empowering and uplifting the youth, particularly those facing socio-economic challenges. The organization recognizes that more than 76,353 youths are among the most marginalized locally, and it actively collaborates with partners, private sectors, and local Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions to address their needs.
The program employs a comprehensive approach, aiming to provide quality, equitable, and inclusive technical skills to vulnerable youths. The overarching goal is to equip them with lifelong, sustainable skills, fostering positive social behavior change. The key interventions of the program include:
The program is strategically tailored to address the specific needs of Youth Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET). By targeting this demographic, the department aims to provide opportunities for growth and development to youths facing challenges in accessing education or employment.
Caritas Isiolo is dedicated to creating a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable youths. We graduated out more than 350 youths from Vocational & technical institutions and Apprenticeship programs, The approach used considers program features that are essential to building life-long, sustainable skills and learning opportunities for the youths

Through the program 104 youths from different wars within Isiolo County have received vocational training , equipping them with essential skills.

107 youths have been engaged in apprenticeship programs, offering hands-on learning experiences

212 young people have received start-up kits, enabling them to launch their business ventures.
